The Rhino is in deep trouble. After a trip to Africa in early 2014, i learned that at the current rate of poaching, rangers expect that they'll only be with us for the next 5-6 years. Can you imagine a word without these unique creatures? It's a tragedy to think that some of our most beautiful animals including the big cats are on their way to extinction, and we collectively are not standing up to protect them. There's a ripple effect when one species is removed from the ecosystem, even if we don't immediately see it. Every time a species becomes extinct, a part of us dies with it.
Proceeds from the print run of this piece will be donated to a Rhino conservation fund, details to follow soon.
